Say it in your own words
A gift for my mum under R1500, something she would keep. No category to pick, no filter to set, no guessing what we happened to call it.
Vhawana, Tshivenda for to find
A South African marketplace where you describe what you are after in ordinary words, and the machine does the searching, the sorting and the explaining.
Would rather look around? Browse everything.
Selling something? List it in about a minute.
Say it the way you would say it to someone behind a counter.
Every other marketplace hands you a search box and a wall of filters and asks you to do the work of a shop assistant. Three steps here, and only the first one is yours.
A gift for my mum under R1500, something she would keep. No category to pick, no filter to set, no guessing what we happened to call it.
It reads what you meant, searches the catalogue and returns a handful, each with a sentence on why that one was chosen for you. When nothing fits, it says so.
Flat R149 anywhere in South Africa, card payments secured by Yoco, and an order page that tells you where the parcel is without an email to anyone.
A seller types a few untidy lines. Everything on the right is produced from them. This is the real input and the real output for a book on the site.

Waiting for the seller.
On every other marketplace, the seller who wins is the one with the biggest team. Someone to write the listing, someone to price it, someone to photograph it, someone to work out why it is not showing up in search. The product barely enters into it.
VHAWANA exists to delete that entire job. The AI writes the listing, sets the category, reads the photographs, fills in the details a buyer will ask about, and puts the product in front of the person who described needing it. A seller with one good product and no team gets the same treatment as a seller with a warehouse.
And on the other side, a shopper should never have to learn our vocabulary. Say it the way you would say it out loud, and the marketplace does the rest.

Founder and CEO
Current e-commerce is fundamentally broken for both sides. Buyers are forced to navigate search noise, and sellers spend more energy fighting algorithms than building supply. VHAWANA fundamentally restructures this. We build autonomous AI infrastructure that manages store operations for sellers, while allowing buyers to express intent naturally-giving them effortless discovery. Vhawana - they ask, they find, done.
We aren't just building a marketplace; we're building the autonomous trade engine for the next generation of global commerce.

No listing to write, no category to choose, no keywords to guess at. Type what it is, add a photograph, and the marketplace takes it from there.
